Decree of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 859 of 2016 which Accommodates the Leuser Ecosystem

Ministerial Decree No. 859 of 2016 recognizes the Leuser Ecosystem as a national strategic area. This decree represents the second amendment to the Decree on Forest and Marine Conservation Areas of Aceh Province. The Leuser Ecosystem is a national strategic area and a resource that must be preserved and utilized for the national interest in the context of implementing sustainable national development.
