NGO audience in Aceh regarding Aceh’s RTRW with Commission 4 of the DPRA

Several NGOs in Aceh held an audience with Commission IV of the Aceh House of Representatives (DPR Aceh) to discuss the Draft Aceh Provincial Spatial Plan (RTRWA). The meeting was attended by WALHI Aceh, MaTA, WWF, HAkA, AGC, and others. One of the most pressing issues related to the Leuser Ecosystem Area (KEL). The NGOs emphasized that KEL must be accommodated in the RTRWA Qanun that will be ratified. From Commission IV of the DPRA, represented by Drs. H. Abdurrahman Ahmad. The DPRA assured that KEL will continue to be accommodated in the RTRWA.
