Impact

Here are some of the results of our work to protect the remaining forests and the Leuser Ecosystem in Aceh:

• We launched our first citizen lawsuit against the Aceh Spatial Plan in 2015
• We launched our first lawsuit as plaintiffs against the cement plant, highlighting our official establishment as a legitimate environmental NGO in 2016.
• We established Aceh’s first female ranger team. Redefining the role of women in environmental management.
