The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) commemorates National Statistics Day (HSN) every September 26, coinciding with the enactment of Law Number 7 of 1960 concerning Statistics. The HSN commemoration provides a momentum for statisticians and the public to strengthen statistical development, improve statistical literacy, and expand the use of statistical data. To commemorate the 2025 HSN, BPS Aceh Province held an HSN Roll Call and awards ceremony for strategic partners in statistical administration.

On this occasion, the Aceh Forest, Nature and Environment Foundation was invited to an event at the BSI Landmark Hall, 8th Floor, on Friday, September 26, 2025. BPS Aceh presented an award to HAkA for its contribution in strengthening advocacy and data utilization for the protection and preservation of the Leuser Ecosystem Area as Aceh’s environmental heritage. The HAkA Foundation was represented by the Coordinator of MEL and Policy Advocacy, Agung Dwinurcahya. Also receiving awards from BPS were the Aceh Environment and Forestry Service (DLHK), the Aceh Communication, Informatics and Cryptography Service (Diskominsa), the State Islamic University (UIN) Ar-Raniry, the Department of Statistics of Syiah Kuala University (USK), bisnisia.id, and several other institutions.
