31st Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) in Cebu, Philippines
APRSAF is the largest space-related conference in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together space agencies, government bodies, international organizations, private companies, universities, and research institutions from over 40 countries and regions. The 31st APRSAF is being held in Cebu, Philippines, from November 18 to 21, 2025, co-organized by Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). Centered on the theme “Empowering the Region through a Space Ecosystem in Action,” this annual gathering serves as a platform to discuss space-related advancements and foster collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region.
APRSAF offers a valuable platform to showcase how European Union initiatives actively contribute to the development of the regional space ecosystem, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with a dedicated audience from space agencies and other key regional stakeholders.
A side event held in parallel with the 31st APRSAF annual meeting will facilitate the launch of the “SCOPE Digital” initiative—in the presence of like-minded partners such as PhilSA, GISTDA, BRIN, and ESA—to share lessons learned and establish a framework for international collaboration and innovation in digital space technology. It will also serve as an opportunity to promote the further regionalization of the Copernicus program in the Philippines among ASEAN nations, thereby fostering interest among an expanding group of partners. HAkA is participating in this event alongside BRIN.
