HAkA attends APRSAF 31 Side Event

31st Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum (APRSAF) in Cebu, Philippines

APRSAF is the largest space-related conference in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together space agencies, government agencies, international organizations, private companies, universities, and research institutions from more than 40 countries and regions. From November 18 to 21, 2025, the 31st APRSAF was held in Cebu, Philippines, co-organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). With the theme “Empowering the Region through a Space Ecosystem in Action,” the annual meeting serves as a platform to discuss space-related progress and foster collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region.

APRSAF offers a valuable platform to showcase how EU initiatives are actively contributing to the development of the regional space ecosystem, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with a dedicated audience of space agencies and other key regional stakeholders.

A side event, also held in parallel with the 31st APRSAF Annual Meeting, will launch the “Digital SCOPE” initiative, with like-minded partners such as PhilSA, GISTDA, BRIN, and ESA, to share lessons learned and build a framework for international collaboration and innovation in digital space technologies. It will also be an opportunity to promote further regionalization of the Philippines’ Copernicus program among ASEAN countries, generating interest from a growing number of partners. HAkA will participate in this event alongside BRIN.
