Bu-Moe Festival? in Banda Aceh 2023

Bu-moe? Fest is a collaborative space that brings together young people, artists, communities, and organizations to voice concerns about environmental and wildlife issues in Aceh through art and creativity. The name “Bu-Moe” comes from the Acehnese language, where “Bu” means rice or monkey, while “Moe” means crying. This philosophy is designed to allow the audience to interpret its meaning independently. We aim to play a role in mobilizing public participation in preserving Aceh’s forests and wildlife.
