Aceh Has Lost Nearly 40 Thousand Hectares of Forest by 2025

Aceh’s forest cover loss throughout 2025 is estimated to reach 39,687 hectares, an increase of more than 274 percent compared to 2024. This spike is one of the highest in the last decade.
