The massive flooding of late November 2025, triggered by tropical cyclone Senyar, had a devastating impact on Aceh. It was no ordinary flood; it encompassed not only water but also mud and logs. Piles of logs of various sizes were found in various locations across Aceh, such as in Geudumbak village, Langkahan District, Aceh Utara.
