The Total Economic Value of Aceh’s Forests book, funded by the European Union, has more value than meets the eye. The total economic value of Aceh’s forests is Rp 412.3 trillion if fully conserved. Rp 304.7 trillion if maintained at current levels. Rp 208.2 trillion if all lowland forests are destroyed. Aceh’s forests officially cover 3,557,928 hectares.
