Wildlife crime is an organized crime that threatens the sustainability of Indonesia’s biodiversity and ecosystem balance. The protection framework has been strengthened through the amendment of Law Number 5 of 1990 to Law Number 32 of 2024, but its effectiveness depends heavily on the certainty and quality of law enforcement mechanisms capable of reaching closed networks.
