The strengthening of the Cendana Group began in February 2022. Together with HAkA Foundation, this group was formed to be able to generate a creative economy by utilizing waste and turning it into quality products. The strengthening of the Cendana Group went through several trainings and capacity building for its members, one of which was the Organizational Management Training which aimed to evaluate the organizational procedures in the Cendana Group including sharing stories and obstacles in organizing.

Capacity building is also scheduled to improve members’ understanding and ability to keep financial records, record and manage group assets.Training on Management and Marketing of Cendana Group Products is conducted to broaden members’ knowledge on how to analyze the market and compare other similar products.

Then, members also learned how to do online and offline marketing such as the use of social media and market places. HAkA continues to support the Cendana Group’s strengthening activities by assisting in managing online and offline sales and managing product legality so that it is ready to be marketed more widely.
