Strengthening the Cendana Group began in February 2022. Together with the HAkA Foundation, the group was formed to develop creative economic opportunities by utilizing waste and change it into high-quality products. This strengthening process has involved several training sessions and capacity-building activities for its members. One of these was an Organizational Management Training, aimed at evaluating the organizational practices within the Cendana Group, including sharing experiences and challenges in organizing. 

Capacity building was also scheduled to improve the members' understanding and skills in financial and accounting, as well as in tracking and managing the group’s assets. 

The Product Management and Marketing Training for the Cendana Group was conducted to increase members' knowledge on how to analyze the market and compare their products with similar ones. Members also learned how to market the products both online and offline, including the use of social media and marketplaces.

HAkA continues to support the strengthening of the Cendana Group by providing ongoing guidance in managing both online and offline sales, as well as in securing the legal certification of products to ensure they are ready for broader market distribution.
